Charles Lavoie has been a photographer and photography instructor in New York City since 2005

He has professionally shot everything from jewelry to industrial water heaters, to commissioned artwork, daddy daughter dances, town halls, parades and corporate portraits. He is passionate about all things photographic. And above all, he loves patiently sharing his knowledge with his students.

Charles does not speak french, and is neither French nor Canadian, but pronounces his last name La-VWAH due to misplaced, lingering ancestral pride.
